IMPORTANCE OF A GOOD NIGHT’S SLEEP:

We all know someone who complains of not getting a good night’s sleep and suffering from neck and back pain or injuries that won’t go away. Did you know that sleeping is one of the best things to do after an injury, illness or surgery? It’s recommended to get around 6-8 hours of sleep each night for a full and healthy rest. To help improve the quality of your sleep, try to cut down on TV, phone, and other electronic device use about an hour before bedtime. You can also try some quiet meditating before going to bed.

The position that you sleep in is also important. It is a common misconception that there is one proper way of sleeping. You can learn how to help off-weight segments and reduce tension in your body in our Masterclass.

Our Physical Therapists will be host the Masterclass on the importance of getting a good night’s sleep and how it impacts your overall health. We will also provide tips on how to improve your sleep position and suggest tools or products that you can incorporate into your daily sleep routine.
